How Does MNB
Do Therapy
Therapy is showing up as you are. Sharing your experiences, feeling validated, and being challenged emotionally, especially as it relates to identifying and processing uncomfortable feelings. I have spent years walking alongside children, teens, and their families who struggle with getting along, feeling heard, needing validation, and wanting to support each other but are unsure which step to take.
I have heard parents say: “I just don't know how to reach my child. I'm at a loss, and I don't know what to do or who I can reach out to for help without feeling embarrassed or judged."
On the other hand, I have had children and teens say, “my parents won't listen, they'll judge, it's uncomfortable, and they don't understand where I am coming from.”
Does any of these resonate with you? If so, reach out, and let’s connect.

Individual Therapy: $140
Being a preteen/teen can be challenging, confusing, and complex; my goal is to meet weekly for therapy as this could allow your preteen/teen an opportunity to build a therapeutic relationship outside of their immediate circles (family/friends) to help them feel heard, understood, and in a space that allows them to process their feelings in a healthy way. My goal is to help you feel supported and teach you ways to express yourself in an effective way to prevent you from suppressing your thoughts and feelings.
Family Therapy: $160
Is your family struggling with navigating changes such as adoption, blending families, divorce, grief and loss, mental health challenges, or trauma? As a parent, are you concerned about your relationship with your child and unsure how to support them? I use approaches such as structural and strategic family therapy interventions to create a safe space for you and your child(ren) to learn and practice new ways to communicate and develop new rituals to strengthen your relationship. I aim to help each member feel heard and learn ways to strengthen their communication and relationships.

Memorie N. Bush, Therapist
In my experience as a therapist, I know how important it is for children/teens and their families to learn ways to strengthen their relationships despite the challenges that they have been confronted with. One of my favorite things about working with children/teens and their families
is seeing them come together and heal.
This experience can also be rewarding for children/teens and their families, as it allows each of you to strengthen and redefine your relationship, learn and identify ways to process your feelings and feel heard and validated.
